Kids Can Cook – Oats

Today on “Kids Can Cook”, Onalenna and Paballo show us three different methods for preparing tasty oat meals. Oats are rich in beta-glucan, known to help lower levels of bad cholesterol. They also contain vital minerals (manganese, selenium, phosphorus, fibre, magnesium, zinc, carotenoids, tocols (Vitamin E), flavonoids and avenanthramides – a class of polyphenols). ROSA – Alexandra Gardening Project

LoveWorldSAT reports from the Gardening project for less privileged women in Alexandra. The PR councillor of the ward – Sena Gwebu, representing the Ward Councillor who couldn’t make it for the event, expressed their thanksgiving for the project. She extended her blessings towards Christ Embassy, and the ROSA team which participated in the project. The ROSA team, donated several farming and gardening tools, along with seeds, saplings and plant sprouts. The team also took part in farming activities, ploughing, watering and planting.
