In this episode, the presenter of Turning 21 Sibongile April starts by giving a definition of responsibility which is the ability to act independently and take decisions without authorisation. In unpacking the topic of responsibility, Sibongile and her panellists Linkford Mathgambo, Nqabakazi April, Hlengiwe Mnisi, Azwe Matodzi and Aeon Manaka demonstrate their personal examples of how they are responsible.

Linkford Mathambo, shares his opinion of responsibility as a call to leadership, he said ”Responsibility can start at any age, and it includes making life-altering choices, ones that can only better your life. To be independent, one has to be strong.”

One of the guest shares that responsibility comes with gathering of information. He says 21 is a three 7 year circle (diving 21 by three gives you 7) where as a 21 year old you would have fully grown into your youth development.
