On the 11th of August Zambians took to the polls in numbers starting from the early hours of the day and cast their votes for leaders of their choice. The peaceful environment in the nation was maintained even as the elections went on. Many official observers were present at the different polling stations. Voters were optimistic of the outcome and expressed their views on the change they would love to see. Some political leaders were interviewed and gave their views on the elections.
